God has blessed me by calling me to go on a mission trip to Tshilidzini School for the Blind in South Africa, through MCO Charleston and Citadel Square Church. As God wills, I will be serving there May 1-11. We will be serving and ministering to 220 disabled children who have been shunned by their communities due to their disabilities and medical needs. The trip includes four days of clinics to provide a wide variety of medical and spiritual needs to the children.
In Matthew 15:29-39, Jesus is recorded healing the mute, blind, crippled, and impaired before preaching a single word. He then proceeded to multiply the fish and the loaves of bread to feed the four thousand. Jesus did not heal based on their salvation, their desire to know Him, or the good works they had done. He simply healed out of love and compassion for His people. He loved them and displayed God’s power through physical healing before preaching the good news. As a believer, I have the same calling to love and care for others with no regard. I believe that the Lord has called me to heal, help and love those around me through being a PA and through this opportunity to travel to South Africa. I have been on medical missions before to Guatemala and saw how abundantly the Lord provided and moved through our team. It was an eye-opening experience that led me craving to see God provide more spiritual, physical, and emotional healing to those across the world. I am praying for spiritual revival, physical healing, and lives to be transformed by the Gospel on this trip! The total cost of the trip is $3,000, which will pay for flights, lodging, food, and supplies for the clinics. If you would like to help me with the cost you can make a tax deductible donation through the link below. I am also seeking prayer partners to pray for our group, the ministries, safety, the children at the Tshilidzini school, and for each day on the trip. Thank you for your support and I look forward to sharing with you all what God does on this mission!
